​What a magical evening! A Cause for Celebration is special because it is a rare time when we can celebrate those who help us in our work and hear from those whose voices too often are unheard. Shawna Parks, Vanaman German, Albert Jason and Leticia Mejia, exemplify the spirit of Learning Rights Law Center. All of our honorees fight for justice and make a huge impact not only in the lives of our clients but in the fabric of our community.

Every dollar raised directly strengthens a child’s right to a meaningful education.

 

​Our vision is for all children to receive a meaningful and equitable public education which empowers them to grow into happy, productive, and independent adults.

 

Last year our work resulted in over $3.9 million in free education supports and services that otherwise would not be available to our families. In addition, over 2,000 people attended our TIGER “Know-Your-Rights” classes, learning the intricacies of special education law and self-advocacy.
