Education Advocacy Training

Learning Rights provides intensive instruction to attorneys and non-attorneys who are interested in getting involved in the field of special education advocacy.

For non-attorney advocates, Learning Rights has created a “Special Education Advocacy Boot Camp.” The Boot Camp is a three-day course covering the following topics:

•    introduction to special education advocacy and practice;
•    the history and overview of the related laws;
•    basic advocacy skills;
•    conflict resolution; and
•    the business of advocacy.

For attorneys, Learning Rights provides pro bono opportunities to work directly with a Learning Rights attorney on special education cases.

Our LRLC “boot camp” is being scheduled for this fall.
